Why Women Shouldn’t Drive In Snow!

8 01 2010

The weather outside is still bad,
With more snow we’ve ever had.
Today I had to do something which I haven’t so far,
That is to give a woman a push in her snow stranded car.

I for one am not usually sexist,
But most/all women are still 2nd rate drivers and that is at best.
I love how they just put their foot on the gas and hope it will go,
And all their wheels do is go round and round in the snow.

Digging a deeper more slippier slope,
“Sorry love but now you’ve got very little hope”
“It just needs a little push” she says “then ill be on my way”
Yet half an hour later and in that spot she did stay.

So we got the whole house out to give her a push
But with no luck at all, tyres spinning and turning to mush.
So after much heartache we decided to leave the car on the road,
Until the snow either melted or we got a man to have it towed.

The moral of this dear reader is to never let a woman drive,
Especially when there is very unusual weather such as snow outside.
For after they can multi-task and do that quite well even though it’s just luck,
But they can’t do what us men can and drive in the snow without getting stuck!

No matter how hard we tried, the rear wheel drive Lexus just wouldn't move!

A few minutes later, man has saved the car and it is back in the drive.

Nonsence.

I my country women women are as skilful as men. We have to drive was it rainy, slippery, iced or snowy, every working day. Weather cannot prevent to go to the work.

Welcome to learn to drive in real winter here.

My wife has droven since 1978 more than 500 000 kilometers / 310685 miles and never stuck in snow. Same is valid for me and I have droven 1 200 000 kilometers / 745645 since 1973.

I have a front-wheel drive Opel Vectra OPC / Vauxhall Vectra VRX. No problem what ever weather it is.

Of course one important thing are tyres. We have to us winter tyres and we use them, it is natural. To drive in bad weather is not a matter of course for newer drivers. When driving in “road conditions of skull”, then one has to forget speed.

But I do not agree Your conjecture that women cannot drive as good as men. That is my firm opinion!!!

Thank you for your comments, I agree with some of your points, its a combination of car, tires, road, whether its been treated or not. However in my experience of watching the news and being out and about, far more women get stuck and need helping than men do.

Utter rubbish.
Men are every bit as s**t in the snow as women are.
Women always get help quicker though from passers-by.
That’s a given

And as a follow up we have just spent 10 mins whilst your father has had to rescue his car! Now is that because men can’t drive or the car?
